Rundschau Ladies & Gentleman magazine 2026 nr. 3-4
This is the second issue, nr. 3-4 of March-April, of the combined Rundschau magazine for Ladies and Gentlemen. The womenswear section opens with the Designer Look “Haute Couture”. The focus is on this season’s couture shows, including the debuts of Jonathan Anderson for Dior and Mathieu Blazy for Chanel, characterised by outstanding craftsmanship, opulent material use and controlled rigour. In pattern technique, with 16 pages of clear work descriptions, the focus is on shirt dresses, presenting a range of pattern developments that combine the clean construction of classic shirting with the feminine silhouette of a dress, from straight, timeless styles to designs with draping, shaping and asymmetrical elements.
The enclosed pattern sheet contains golfwear in sizes 44–58.
The menswear section begins with the Designer Look “Playing Checks & Stripes”. Classic check and stripe patterns are presented in a contemporary interpretation with a fresh, spring-oriented appeal. The pattern technique for the menswear section, with 14 pages of clear work descriptions, is dedicated to vintage loungewear, whose characteristic design elements, shawl collars, tie belts and refined fabrics such as flannel or silk, are being reinterpreted as the boundaries between daywear, leisurewear and homewear continue to dissolve. In the processing section, a step-by-step guide demonstrates how to produce a drawstring waistband with adjustment tab, an elegant and comfortable alternative to a conventional waistband with zip fastening.
